Show Lions Hold Regular Meet The regular monthly meeting of the Mount Pleasant Lions' club was held Wednesday evening, with reports re-ports from A. E. Jones, Joseph Mat-cm Mat-cm nnr! T W Jensen featurinn- the session. Mr. Jones is in correspondence with the Lions' International information in-formation bureau concerning the costs of constructing a municipal ; wimming pool. It is stated that at soon as a concerted community harmony of opinion concerning advisability ad-visability of building the pool is evidenced, ev-idenced, data on this correspondence correspond-ence will probably be complete and ready for publication. Mr. Matson presented his report as a delegate to the conference recently re-cently held with members of the Utah state road commission by members of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah. The ou!-,1,0k ou!-,1,0k for completion of route 89 to Thistle and certain other desirable desira-ble read projec's in this part of the state was reported as favoraole. Division of responsibility in Dis-jtrict Dis-jtrict 28 was reported by T. W. Jensen Jen-sen following his return from Og-rien, Og-rien, where it was decided to have the district retain its legal stand- ing, but to have two presidents for as many divisions, Utah comprising the one division. |
