Show ! FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 I By Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Math-'s announce an-nounce the marriage of their daugh -ter, Rita to Mr. Virgil Rostron of Moroni on Friday, September 2V.h. Everyone wishes them success and happiness. Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. Niels C. Nielson of the. arrival of a grand daughter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson of Mt. Pleasant on September 29th. The Fountain Green Bishopric sponsored a dance last Friday evening eve-ning in honor of Johm K. Guymon, who is leaving on October 5th for the Mission Home in Salt Lake. A very fine time wa'? enjoyed by the large number which was present. pres-ent. A farewell party, in his honor, under the direction1 of the Elderfc Quorum with Joseph P. Jensen, president, was held Sunday evenin? in the ward chapel. Am unusually large number was present and who enjoyed the excellent program, which was rendered. A very fine donation was also received for his benefit. La Dru and La Vere Holman, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Holman are at Ely, Nevada where they are attending High School and they also have employment iin Skaggs store there. Mrs. Lyda Guymon and family went to Morcni on Monday evening even-ing to attend a farewell party for John Guymon given by the Moroni orchestra, Miss Vaun Blackham and Mrs. Earl Blackham. A program pro-gram and refreshments was enjoyed enjoy-ed at the Ear,t Ward chapel, after which a dance was given at Paradise Para-dise Grdens where he was presented with a gocd donation. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Allen of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Allred and family of Centerfield, Mrs. Emma Em-ma A. Nash and family of Salt-Lake, Salt-Lake, J. A. Oliver of Provo, Mr. a,nd Mrs. Earl Blackham and family of Morcni spent Sunday here and attended at-tended the farewell missionary party on Sunday evening. Mrs. Averil Lar.?en entertained the Glcom Busters club - ait . her home last Saturday afternoon. The time was spent in social chat after which a delicious hat dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anderson spent the last week end with Mr. ' and Mrs. Hyrum Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Allen returnt3 Monday to Los Angeles after a two weeks visit here. |
