Show ; I FAIR VIEW j j By Special Correspondence j The North Bend Camp of the D. U. R. met at Mrs. Stena Hansens June 12th in honor of her birthday anniversary. anniv-ersary. T-e lesson Early Mines in Utah was given by Cleo Larsen. Katherine Turpin and Orreta Briggs gave tap dancing. Mrs. A. J. Anderson Ander-son read the History of her motr.er. Mrs. William Parkinson, Accordlan music by Mrs. Mary Larsen. Benediction Benedic-tion by Mrs. Vilate Sorenson. The closing social and Big Sister party cf t.te relief societies was held in each ward Tuesday the 14th. The tables were decorated with flowers and the menu looked beautiful 88 partook of the banquet in the South ard and 140 in the North ward. Excellent programs including tiwo one act plays were given gcod music and speechs were also given. T. e social hour was much enjoyed by all. Mrs. Weltha Peacock of Ogiden was t'.te guest of her daughter Mrs. Phil Hurst last week. Mrs. Coroline Maidsen tfaturned last week from the, San Francisco Fair where she went with Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Madsen, Mr. Arthur Winters and Mrs. Lydia Winters. Mrs. Ellis Coombs and Miss Dora C:ombs left last Wednesday for a trip to the worlds fair at San Francisco they expect to visit Portland Portl-and and Britsh Columbia and visit .vith relatives. Mr.and Mrs. Max Mangum and baby son of Denver were guests of Mrs. Sarah B. Peterson the past week. They left this morning for Denver Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Hilda Greenwood accompanied them home. Mrs. Golden Jenkins of Salt Lake visited her .irother and other relatives rela-tives here the past week. |
