Show Sanpete Students Complete Course at B. Y. University Arthur Sundwall, Robert Sund-wall, Sund-wall, Ila Mqwer, Luzon Anderson, Vondella Knight, Ot;s Nielson, and Edward Hansen, from Fairview; Katherine Rasmussen, Verl Johan-sen, Johan-sen, James Jordan, Sheldon Alired, Andrew Anderson, Merlin Christensen Christen-sen from Mt. Pleasant; Loa Allred Edna Allred, Ernest Terry, and Garn Olson framj Spring City; and George Anderson from Moroni are among the 470 who are registered in the first term of Brigiham Young university summer school, which began be-gan at Provo last week. Leading Authorities in various fields who are teaching at the B. Y. U. summer session include Dr. Ned H. Dearborn of New York unver-sity, unver-sity, Dr. Fred C Frey of Louisiana State university, and James L. Nut-tall, Nut-tall, President of Snow college. One of the highlights of the summer session ses-sion is the Third Annual Conference on Education held at B. Y. U. June 19 to 23. To,e world-fapiied Roth Quartet from Paris, Rollin Pease, baritone from the University of Arizona, David O. McKay of the First Presidency Presi-dency of the L. D. S. Church, Rabbi David H. Wice of Omaha, and Dr. A. M. Harding of the University of Arkansas, are among the guest artists art-ists and lecturers who will appear during the six weeks' termi. Another outstanding event of the term will be the 28th Annual Timpanogos Hike on July 14 and 15. The first term of the B. Y. U. summmer session will continue to July 21, arid Will be followed by tie Alpine term at the university's mountain-side campus from July 25 to August 26. |
