SPRING CITY ! i Ry Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dibble of Long Beach, California announce the birth of a baby girl on March 23 at the home of Mrs. Augusta Salberg in this city. Mrs. Salberg is the little girl's grandmother. I Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Morley an- nounce the arrival of a baby girl this week. Mrs. Morley was for-1 merly Miss Pearl Blain. The little I girl is a great-granddaughter of Jens J. Sorensen and Mrs. Mellisa Blain. Hemming Hansen was given a party Saturday the occasion being his 86th birthday anniversary. Mr. Hansen is the oldest man in town. He was born in Denmark on the Island Moen. He is a Black Hawk Tndian war veteran. His wife, Mrs. Anna Marie Hansen celebrated her 81st birthday on March 4th. They have been married 62 years and have had eleven children, seven of whom are living. Mrs. Elizabeth Diantha Allred, widow of the late Bishop Allred, was honored at a party given by her relatives last Saturday, the occasion oc-casion being her 81st birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Pratt Allred, recorder in the Manti Temple, and his family cf Manti and Spencer Allred and family of Salt Lake came here for the occasion. Mrs. Jack Bradshaw and son, Tick, left Saturday ior Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Marius Chrsten-sen Chrsten-sen announce the marriage of their : daughter, Winona, to Verniel Ro- binson of this city Thursday of last week. They will make their home here with Mr. Robinson's mother who is very ill at present, i Mrs. Elva Cox, who is attending the A. C. at Logan, visited a few days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson. Lyman Christensen of Los Angeles, An-geles, California is visiting here. William and Henry Schofield were Price visitors Sunday. They were accompanied here by Mrs. Sadie R. Christensen. Miss Ha Acord of Salt Lake City is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Acord, Jr. Mrs. Horace Larsen entertained at a party Thursday afternoon of last week in honor of Mrs. Alma" Downard. Luncheon was served to 25 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ivory of Fountain Green visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Blain Mr. Soren Anderson and family of Salt Lake are visiting here with Mrs. Sarh E. Hyde. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peterson of Manti visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H. William Peterson. Rollo Jensen had 800 of his chickens killed recently when the stove in his brooder exploded. The brooder house was not injured. |
