Show Funeral Held For Mrs. Pauline Bigler Mrs, Pauline Ott Bigler, 83, widow of Jacob Arnold Bigler and former resident of Mt. Pleasant, d ed at the Park City Miners hospital hos-pital Friday mornir.g, April 10, 1936, of ailments incident to old age. Mrs. Bigler spent the later years of her life in Park City with her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Springer. Mrs. Bigler was bom January 6, 1853, in Zell, Zurich, Switzerland, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Winkler Ott. After becoming a convert to the L. D. S. church she came to Utah with her mother, three suiters and a grandmother in i71. her father having disc in Switzeiiai .1. She married Jacob Arnold Bigler, also a native of Switzerland, in the endowment house, October 1872. Her husband died April 8, 1916. Mrs. Bigler was the mother of nine children, sit of whom survive. They are John Bigler of Indianola, Mrs. Sam Jones, W. A. Bigler, Mrs. Mary Quinn of Salt Lake City, A. W. Bigler cf Sandy and Mrs. J. R. Springer of Park City. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, grand-children, 32 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Luisa Kunsler, Rosetta, Utah Funeral services were held here Monday at 1 p. m. in the North ward chapel with Bishop Henry P. Olsen presiding. Singing "O My Father," by the choir. The invocation was by Bishop James Larsen, followed by a song by the choir "Sister Thou Wast Mild and Lovely"; solo, "Lay My Head Beneath! a Rose," by Mrs. Pearl Peterson; solo, "Tired" by Mrs. Clarice Olsen; the closing song by the choir was "Resting Now from Care and Sorrow." The speakers were: Fredrick Ott, Bishop Bish-op A. L. Peterson, Mrs. Wilford Rasmussen, President H. C. Jacobs and Bishop Henry P. Olsen. A. F. Reynolds gave the benediction. The grave was dedicated by Mads Anderson. Interment was in the City cemetery cem-etery under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. , MORONI Miss Ila Cloward cf Ogden is visiting relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Christensen of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Cieon Tidwell of McGtU, Nevada, are visiting in Moroni with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. Lewis Blackham entertained the Sorosis club Thursday afternoon after-noon at her home. Mrs. Gene Despain gave a book review "North cf the Orient," by Arm. Lindbergh. Refreshments were served. |
