Show Interest Running High in The Prevention of Fire in The Public Schools in North Sanpete Fire Hazard of Schools Not as Represented In the last issue cf The Pyramid there was an! article on the front page in bold headlines which did a grave injustice. And because of this high-pres ure ealesmanship some of our people are swooning with frantic. All the more because it follows, so suddenly, the Texas disaster. We recognize this as good salesmanship because it capitalizes cn such tragedies. It seems very .-fcrange that after all these years without a disastrous fire the.e should be a sudden awakening through high pres -ure t: etics. An awakening is needed, . tut the Board cf Education has, been awake for several years and they have placed fire extinguishers fire hose, and fire escapen in the buildings of the district with plans to continue each future year as fast as money is available. A sale iman is not a governmental inspector and we shculd not permit such people to come and sell equipment equip-ment unless we are sure it is the best and that we need it becau e it will give us the best service. Much has been dene each year to protect the lives of students a 'd mere will be done as money, beeomes available. We can a sir. e you that proper steps will be taken to improve as we need it. M. J.
