Show FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 By Special Correspondence 1 Born to Mr. and Mrs. Reed Col-lard, Col-lard, June 11th, a girl. Bern to Mr. and Mrs. Reldon Holman, June 15th, a boy. The mother mo-ther is at present at Moroni with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson. Pe-terson. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Taylor of Wales, June 18th, a girl. The mother was formerly Miss Ar-villa Ar-villa Mikkelsen, and they are at present with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Mikkelsen. Mrs. Ellen Yorgason and children. child-ren. Robert, who just graduated from the B. Y. U., Ella Yorgason,1 Delia Mcintosh and baby, all of Burlington, Wyo., and Mrs. Leona' Duncan of Salt Lake spent last I week here. The "Lucky Aces' enjoyed a! Progressive supper this week at the hemes cf Loraine Mikkelsen, Ruby Ru-by Rasmussen and Unis Jackson. The following are the members: Loraine and Doris Mikkelsen, Jewell Jew-ell Hansen, Ruby Rasmussen, Unis Un-is Jackscn, Geneil Allred, Verna Green, Delia Hansen, Nedra Christiansen Chris-tiansen and Jessie Hansen. Harold Collard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Llcyd Collard of Idaho Falls, is here to spend the summer with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Collard. A large number was present at a delightful shower given by Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Oldroyd in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sardonl, newlyweds of last week. A splendid program was rendered and refreshments refresh-ments served, after which a free dance for everyone was given in Amusement Hall. The young couple received many beautiful and use ful gifts. His sister, Miss Dearwyn Sardoni of Colorado Springs, was a special guest. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson and three children of Idaho Falls, visited last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Thompson. Mrs Thompson is still beadfast, after suffering from a stroke over three years ago. Mrs. Luvina Aagard entertained her relatives at a dinner last week on her 53rd birthday anniversary. A most enjoyable time was spent, there being 45 present. Word was received this week from Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Chapman of Ogden, who were former residents resi-dents here, that they are the proud grandparents of two pairs of twins. Their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Chapman, have twins a boy and 'a girl born on June 9th; the other twin boys were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Chapman just recently. Miss La Priel Aagard returned to Salt Lake this week after a three weeks visit here, ana .Laurel Aagard Aa-gard is attending summer school at the B. Y. U. The following attended the Hunt family reunion at Monroe this week: Mcrcie Ivory, Nellie Collard, Sarah E. Allred, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Ivory, and Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Oldroyd. They report having spent a delightful day. Mrs. J. T. Oldroyd and son Gayle, Mrs. Ella Livingston and daughter Winnifred, and Mrs. Donna McDonald Mc-Donald and children of Salt Lake visited here with relatives this week after being present at Monroe at the Hunt reunion. |
