Mr. and Mrs. George Green received re-ceived word this week of the arrival ar-rival of a baby boy on March 16 nt the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dur-ane Dur-ane Jones of Roberts, Idaho. The mother was formerly Miss Enia Green. The Gloom Eustei-s were entertained enter-tained last weef by Mrs. Hilda Christiansen. delicious dinner vas tsrved. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Booth Cook is very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Mance Jennings of Levan visited a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Antone -andsen. Ail residents of Fountain Green vho have relatives in the earthquake earth-quake area of southern California ave received word of their safety nd also thrilling experiences which they will never forget. Mrs. Ellis Hansen has been very ill the past week, but is very much . mproved now. ! Burnell Aagard and Frank Jor-eenson Jor-eenson returned home this week ' -'m the B. Y. U. at Provo where they have been attending the winter win-ter quarter. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Frank's mother, Mrs. Ber-; t:ia Christiansen, who has been 1 :ecp'ing house for them. j The M. I. A. presented part of :heir work on Ward Honor Day Tuesday evening to a full house. Two one-act plays were contested. 'Women Folks" was directed by Laurel Aagard. The cast included: Clare Collard, Reva Aagard, Olean Mired, Ora Livingston, Marjorie Ouymon and Evelyn Smyth. "The Killer" was directed by Stanley fvory. The cast included: Victoria crgason, Odell Christensen, Jack Sorensen and Leland Hansen. It was difficult for the judges to make the decision, but it was iwarded to "The Killer." Howard Ivory and Bessie Petersen Peter-sen gave speeches and Miss Roma Oldroyd gave a retold story. The operetta "Where There's A Will" md the contest dance witih other parts will be given Friday evening, March 24th. Mrs. Sadie Livingston entertain-3d entertain-3d the Gloom Busters this week. A lovely dinner was served. Mrs. Peter Jacobson of Provo and Row-ena Row-ena Allred were special guests. Mr. and Mrs. George C. Anderson Ander-son are rejoicing over their first grandson born to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Anderson of Mt. Pleasant on February 25. Mrs. Anderson was formerly Miss Leola Anderson of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anderson of Park City have been visiting Tor a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George C. Anderson. The Social Hour club gave a oarty in the City hall on the evening eve-ning of March 16. The program ncluded readings by Oleone All-pd All-pd and Mrs. Pearl Holman. Two silos were rendered by Lee Oldroyd. Old-royd. The remainder of the evening eve-ning was spent in dancing. Music --as furnished by Frank Hill and his son Elmer, Lee Oldroyd and intone Frandsen. The prize waltz "'as won by William Sorenson and Mrs. Peter P. Hansen. Refreshments Refresh-ments wore served to 60 guests. |
