Show Junior Summer Recreation School To Begin Monday At, its regular board meetinj here last night, the Mt. Pleasant Woman's Club decided to sponsor a free Junior summer recreation school to begin Monday morniiyr, July 101 h, it is announced by Mrs. H. C. Jacobs, president of the club. All children of the community up to twelve years of age are invited to attend. Sessions are to be held five days each week, from 9:30 to 11:30 a. m. The school is slated to continue con-tinue over a period of perhaps fiv-; or six weeks, and will be conducted at the Hamilton public school buildinf. Five directors have been appointed appoint-ed to supervise and take charge ci' the school. Assisting them will Us a number of teachers chosen from the lanks cf the local teachinr; profession which has in the neighborhood ol twenty-five teach-e;s teach-e;s available for service. The fcflowing have been named as directors: Mrs F. J. Nielson, Mis- Louire Madsen, Miss Ethel Lund, Miss Margaret Thompson, and Mrs. Lola Pritchett. Stcrk-s, pays, pageants, drama, muic. Ramcs and the like will be stressed. There will be virtually no intensive studies undertaken. The board members of the club also decided to undertake the project pro-ject of sponsoring construction of a community swimming pool. A committee was appointed for this purpose comprising the following members: Mrs. S. H. Gill, Mrs. Joseph Matson, Mrs. T. M. Keus-seff Keus-seff and Mrs. H. C. Jacobs. |
