Show North Sanpete to Present "Singer Of Naples" Prominent vocalists of the North Sanpe'.e high school will be featured fea-tured next week when the music department presents the light opera "The Singer of Naples" by Cynthia Dodge and May Hewes Dodge, directed by E. B. Terry, who is assited by Mrs. Miriam Nielsen Niel-sen and Miss Alice Jones of the ."igh school faculty. With a setting in musical Italy, "The Singer of Naples" tells ol the ho.les, fears, and int:igues ci a group of gay young street singers. Rex Hafen is presented as a debonair deb-onair young music student with a fine tenor voice and "an ambition for the operatic stage. Donna Mower Mow-er is a childhood sweetheart who is naturally very deepls' concerned with her friend's success. The situation becomes involved when a Countess desires to assist the aspiring as-piring young tenor financially and allows her personal leelings to enter en-ter too much into the contract, darcle Anderson cf Mt. Pleasant, plays tho part of the Countess, while Llcyd Brady of Fairview, La-Var La-Var Jensen of Mt. Pleasant, and LaVelle Rasmussen and Alma Hansen cf Spring City play important im-portant roles. Beginning with a presentation Wednesday night, March 9th, at Spring City, Thursday the 10th, at Mt. Fleasant, and Friday night, March 11 at Fairview.
