Show Farm Bureau Planning Board Selects Committees The local Planning Board met at the h:me of Lawrence Barton Saturday evening, February 28th. Chairman George C. Sorenson was in charge and gave a summary of the County Planning Board meeting meet-ing held at Ephraim, Febiuary 14. and also of the meeting of the Jur.'or Chamber of Commerce held t Wasatch Academy, February 24, where the project for obtaining more water for our city and county v?s under discussion. The lcoal Planning Board selected select-ed the following projects for work ,his year with committees as follows fol-lows : 1. More water for Sanpete County Coun-ty and Better Utilization of Our Presoot Supply C. W. Sorenson. 2. Control, and Eiadication of Weeds Niels Rasmussen. 3. Crcp Improvement Lawrence Ta- ton. 4. Health Mis. Marie Barton, Mrs. Ed. Nelson, M s. Ila Anderson Ander-son and Mrs. J. F. Pritchett. 5. Bet'er Home Living Mrs. Val Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ru-tishauser, Ru-tishauser, Mrs. T. W. Jensen, Mr. -nd Mrs. Burke McArthur, Dr. E. C. Mills. Mrs. Florence Winkel-man Winkel-man and Mrs. Josephine Staker. 6. Rcdent and Pest Control Mauritz Pete. son and Chris Johan-sen. Johan-sen. 7. Marketing, Credit and Finance Fin-ance J. Fred Staker. These projects are in co-ordination, with those chosen by the County Planning Board at Ephraim. Eph-raim. Plans are under way to have a number cf executives speak on these projects in our community in the near future. |
