Show ilS'Personall Items. 1 For Friends & Neighbors. One of our best subscribers in Ogden is Neighbor Carl B. Pederson. He and his wife called call-ed at the office last week-end and delivered the goods. We have great respect for these people. They came to this country 50 years ago. He paid theirimmi ration fees by working work-ing for $15 a month , But they have prospered and are now en joying life in their own home. The'r old age is happy. They live their religion almost per- fectly. On August 17 they will celebrate their golden wedding. Neighbor A. O. Miller of 2176 So. 7th East, and his good wife have recently returned from a trip to California where they went to see their soldier son before he was called abroad He has already advanced to a' first class private. Friend John R Tovcy, for years a good helper in this office, of-fice, died from a heart attack last week leaving a wife xand four children. FuDeral services were held at the Kingdom-Lees mortuary Tuosday under direction dir-ection of BpBuitof the 13th ward. The speakers were Geo Woodruff and Alfred Sorenson. To us Mr. Tovey was loyal, industrious in-dustrious and trustworthy. Peace to his spirit and blessing on his family. |
