Glass recently honored Helper and It citizciiH with his presence in that city It Is hoped Price may soon be similarly sim-ilarly visited. Ilishop Glass is n learned and efficient doctor of theology. Previous to his elevation to the rank of bishop he was rector of St. Vincent coIIcrq nnd pastor of St. Vincent church at Los Angeles, Cain. Having been appointed by tho holy see at Rome to succeed the late Dishon Scanlan, he was recently installed in the episcopacy of his pre with honors worthy of his position and wonderful personality. Newspapers throughout the Rocky Mountain region commented comment-ed upon the royal reception he received mid the most befitting ceremony of his installation. As a true shepherd he is making a tour of Utah nnd Nevada, visiting his flock scattered throughout these two states, leaving in his tracks an impression of lovu nnd respect in the hearts of whomsoever ho meets. At Provo last Sunday Bishop Glass held services and was welcomed wel-comed to the Garden City by many acquaintances as a true friend of that city. Prof. C. R. Johnson, formeily a teacher in the Price cchools, took u prominent part in the musical .program in connection, connec-tion, while Leon Vacher and Charles Vncher, well known loc;dIy, were members of the reception committee having the entertainment entertain-ment for Bishop Glass in charge. |
