Show WILD HORSES ROAM THE WASATCH RANGE Splendid opportunity for some adventurous spirit to Indulge In profitable sport Is offered In the Wasatch natlonnl forest, according accord-ing to J. Frank Bruins supervisor supervis-or of the reserve, who returned to Snlt Lake City recently from a trip over the Grantsvllle and Vernon districts. Bruins says there are some two hundred head of unbranded wild horses on the range. He thought thnt rounding them up would be just difficult enough to make good snort, and In his opinion the ani mals would be saleable Bruins says the animals arc a detriment to the forest, since they consume a considerable amount of feed which the settlers set-tlers should have for the use of their stock. In tho Vernon nnd Grantsville districts, he Bays the range is in excellent condition, but in Tooele county he found the drouth had made feed quite scarce. Around Grantsville the coyotes and J. II. Wolstenhulme, ranger for the district, is busy trapping them. |
