Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS Teachers and students at Lindon Lin-don School are expressing appreciation apprec-iation to Mrs. Arlene Clayson, who will finish her work as tea-ch;r tea-ch;r of the Fifth grade on Thursday. Thurs-day. She will be replaced by Mildred Dimick of Orem, former . visiting teacher in the Orem area. ESN The annual Chriistmas 'parties for the Lindon boys ,and girls were held Wednesday and Thursday Thurs-day mornings and school closed for 1959 at noon on Thursday until un-til Jan. 4, 1960. ESN "Escapades in Japan," a high type comedy film was enjoyed by the Central School students on Wednesday. It was a "pay before be-fore you see" activity with a 10 cent token admission being charged char-ged to defray the cost. ESiN The joint PTA and Jayces sponsored annual Christmas treat was enjoyed at Central School Thursday morning. It included a visit from Santa Claus, as has been customary. |
