Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS Valentine Day was celebrated in high style at Grovecrest School on Tuesday. Room mothers brought cup cakes, the PTA furnished a candy treat and the teachers supplied sup-plied the drinks. In the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth grades, dance instructor William M. Vemon conducted social dancing danc-ing and Valentine games. He also presented a Valentine gift to each child. ESN The last typhoid immunization shots were given last Monday at Grovtcrest. DTT innoculation will begin next Monday morning at 9 a.m. ESN Today, Thursday, at 7:45 Dean I Asahel Woodruff of the BYU Col- the Grovecrest faculty to discuss the proposed "Teaching Improvement" Improve-ment" research project. ESN The Grovecrest Fifth and Sixth grade program will be held at Grovecrest Thursday evening, Feb. 23. A program featuring patriotic songs and stories will be presented. The students are being assisted by Walter Brock, Gordon Walker, and Ford Paulson. ESN PTA officers, Room Mothers, and faculty members of the Cen tral School entertained the students stu-dents in royal fashion on Valentine Valen-tine Day last Tuesday. Treats, games and socials were the order of the occasion. ESN The Central School Third grade students will entertain their parents par-ents with a special program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. "Special Days of February" will be the theme. Leone Told, Janet Pulsipher Pulsiph-er and Margene Jorgensen will assist as-sist the boys and girls. ESN Typhoid innoculations will be completed at Central School on Tuesday, Feb. 21. At the same time shots for DPT and DT will be started. |
