Show Accumenettes Hear Music at Last Club Meeting One of the very nice programs enjoyed by the Accumenettes -was given Thursday with Mrs. Vema Ekins as hostess at her home. For entertanmont of her guests, Mrs. Ekins introduced Mrs. Clifton G. Thayne of Provo, gifted song a nil poatry writer. First the guest entertainer gave a background of how she came to write some of her poetry and got the inspiration to write songs and set them to music. To present her program and sing her original songs Mrs. Thayne brought with her Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Wright of Orem, Mrs. Leon Marshbanks, Orem, Mrs. Paul Strong of Provo, Mrs. Alma E. Thompson and Mrs. Jack Lover-idge, Lover-idge, accompanist of Orem. Songs which were sung were "Hold Back the Dawn," "This Love of Mine," "Another Star Will Shine," When He Comes Again." Present to enjoy the evening were Mrs. Owen Adams, a guest, and club members Fern Anderson, Norma Brown, Floria Carter, Venice Ven-ice Fugal, Betty Harris, Betty Hai"vey, Lawana Hullinger, Hannah Han-nah Beth Matthews, Helen Harvey, Clela Radmall, JoAnn Robinson, Nelda Robinson, Gw,en Roundy, Mary Wadley, Mai-y Wamick, Sylvia Syl-via Peterson, Nelda Warnick. A, delicious tray luncheon was served. |
