Show Variety Club Enjoys Evening with Mrs. Armitstead An unusually enjoyable evening was prepared for the members of the Variety Club and other guests when they met with Mrs. Harold Armitstead on Thursday evening, March 28. After making her guests welcome Mrs. Armitstead introduced intro-duced young Dennis Nicholes, 12-year 12-year old pianist of Bingham and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Nicholes. . The versatile young pianist, pleased and surprised his listeners with his piano technique- and tone and the wide range of his selections, selec-tions, and also played request numbers. num-bers. At the conclusion of the program a late supper was served at small tables, attractive with daffodils and pixies I Special guests besides Mr. and Mrs. Nicholes and Dennis -were Mrs. Bill Gardiner, Mrs. Dean Powell, and Mrs. Harold Bullock. Club members present were Mrs. Joseph Swenson, Mrs. Charles Harper, Har-per, Mrs. O. Lee Swenson, Mrs. Howard Warnick, Mrs. LaVell Bo-ren, Bo-ren, Mrs. Willis Larsen, Mrs. Paul Blackhurst, Mrs. Reed Halliday, and Mrs. William Hunter. |
