Grove School Building The contract for the construction construc-tion of the new 14room elementary school for Pleasant Grove was a-warded a-warded to Talboe Construction Co. of Provo by the board of education educa-tion of Alpine School District, at a meeting Wednesday evening according ac-cording to C. R. Clark, president of the board. There were 18 bidders bid-ders on the contract, and the highest high-est bidder was over $50,000 higher than the successful bidder. The contract calls for the completion com-pletion of the school by June 15, 1955. The architect's estimate was $335,000 for the building, with the successful bidder cutting $39,300 from the estimate. The school is to be built on the site between 1st and third east on 7th North.
