Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS Four Lindon School science exhibits were selected to be used at the UEA next fall. These materials were first displayed last week at the Westmore Els- mentary School at the District Science fair. The units of study were, Man's Use of Fire, Conservation, Conser-vation, Plants and Plant Growth and Animal Adjustment to Seasonal Seas-onal Change. ESN The Lindon School -will hold a dance festival at the school on Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. Each grade, Kindergarten thru Fifth, 'and the Physically Handicapped Handi-capped class will take part in the activities. ESN Friday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. the Lindon School Fifth grade students stu-dents are participating in a dance festival at Central where three schools will present dances. ESN Miss ElDene Taylor, teacher of the Lindon Physically Handicapped Handicap-ped class has been ill for the past week. Substituting is Mrs. Lola Taylor. The children are enjoying en-joying having Mrs. Taylor very much. ESN As a feature of the May Day celebration at Central on May 6, the artistic creations of Mrs. Louise Brimhall Hansen will be on display in Rooms 13 and 17. These will include oils, water-colors, water-colors, wood carving, ceremics and art metal. |
