Show Garnetts Enjoy Reunion Saturday In Provo Park A very enjoyable get-together was held Saturday when the C. A. Gamett family held their annual reunion in the Pioneer Park at Provo. Forty-one family members ! were present with ten unable to I attend. A bounteous picnic dinner was enjoyed at noon and was followed by an afternoon of relaxation, visiting, vis-iting, catching up on family news, sports for the younger people, and games for the smaller fry. Highlight of the afternoon was a telephone message received in the morning from Wayne Gamett and family at Las Vegas, and relayed re-layed to the group in the afternoon. after-noon. Then there were letters read from members far away, one from Kathleen Simmons Plowman and family at Greenbelt, Maryland, and one from Elder William Simmons, serving an LDS Mission in Japan. Enjoying the affair were the father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamett and Mr. and Mrs. Harland Simmons ' and three children chil-dren of Preston Idaho; Ralph and Helen Smith and family and Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roberts and two children; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith and three children, all of Magna; Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Gamett Gam-ett and three children, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Jackson and Karolyn, all of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Gamett and three children of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Don Gamett and four children of Orem. |
