At 9:15 will be the parade of Dairy Princess contestants; at 9:30 Daily Princess will be crowned by lovely Marilyn Anderson, state dairy princess. Door prizes will include two 3-month 3-month old heifer calves, steak dinners din-ners from leading oafes, gifts from department stores throughout the county ,and many dairy products. Committee overseeing the very momentuous affair are Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blackhurst, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Richards, The National Dairy Princess contest will be held at Baton Rouge, La. National Dairy Princess Prin-cess will serve in this capacity for one year; will visit every state in the union, and one foreign country; coun-try; and receive a $1,000 scholarship. PAT JOLLEY The Dairy Princess contest for Utah County will be held at the Scera Theatre in Orem on Monday, June 9th. Thirty of Utah County's loveliest girls will compete. Among the 30 will be six from the Pleasant Grove area. They are: Karen Swensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swensen, Julia Ann Warnick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick; both of Manila; Carol Lea Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Smith, and Pat Jolley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Jolley, both of Pleasant Grove, and Joye Cullimore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cullimore and Connie Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Johnson, . both of Lindon. Contestants will be judged on personality and ability to meet the public. The winner will appear in parades par-ades throughout the county; will participate during June in Dairy month activities, and in autumn at the Cheese Festival. In November she will compete with other county winners, for State Dairy Princess and will receive re-ceive a scholarship to the college of her choice. Judges for the contest , will be Mr. and Mrs. Vern Price of Heber and Gaylon Meirvissen of the Pet Milk Company 'of Salt Lake City. These judges will meet all contestants con-testants in the afternoon for interviews. in-terviews. The judging will begin at 2 p.m. The contestants will be guests at an early dinner. At 7:30 p.m. the program opens with a show. Family tickets may be obtained from committee members, mem-bers, with a limited number to be obtained at the door.
