Show -N , " . I 1 ' LESLIE S. LEICHTY Leslie S. Leichty Part-Time High School Teacher Leslie E. Leichty, part-time teacher in Pleasant Grove Junior High School, was born in Provo, Utah. He attended the school of Alpine District; and was graduated graduat-ed fro mthe Lincoln High School in May, 1944. After completing his high school education, Mr. Leichty spent four busy years. The first twenty-four months he served as a soldier in the U. S. army, and the following two years, as a missionary for the L. D. S. Church in the Northern States Mission. As a "returned missionary" he entered the Brigham Young University, Uni-versity, receiving his Bachelor's degree from the College of Education Educ-ation in June 1952. He has taught two years in the South Summit District at Kamas, Utah. Mr. Leichty married Miss Mona Rolfe of Oakley, Utah. The couple are currently living in Orem. His chief hobby is working in the Boy Scout organization. At the present time he is teaching teach-ing "core" English and History in the Pleasant Grove and Lincoln Seventh Grades. "I am happy to be in Alpine District," Dis-trict," said Mr. Leichty. "We plan to make a permanent home in Utah Ut-ah Valley. Opportunities are better bet-ter here than in any other part of the State." |
