Show MothersStudyClub Hears Talk on Our Utah Heritage The Mothers Study Club enjoyed enjoy-ed a very worthwhile program at their last meeting at the home of Mrs. Irwin Jensen. President Arvilla Harvey presided and after af-ter preliminaries called on Mrs. A. P. Wamick who arranged the program. She introduced her husband, hus-band, A. P. War-nick, Who g'ave a talk on the year's program theme, "Our Utah Heritage." Mr. Warnick's special theme was transportation and communication commun-ication of early days. He followed follow-ed the Indian trails and then old wagon mts as compared to the highways of today, stressing the in-betweens. Referring to means of communication com-munication as compared to telephone tele-phone and telegraph, coast to coast to service to today, he outlined out-lined the progress made. Invited guests of the hostess -were Carol Jaynes, Ella Jackson Jack-son and Alice Simper. Club members mem-bers were Arvilla Harvey, Eva Adams, Ilene Beck, Estelle Fen-ton, Fen-ton, Manetta Gamett, Kate Jacobs, Ja-cobs, Maybell Jense, Cleone Kirk, Edna Newman, Margaret Olpin, Emma Overlade, Deane Paulson, Ross Radmall, Maude Richards, Fern Smith, Lucile Walker, Ida West, Geneve Warnick and Oral Wright. |
