MISS ANN CLARK Late Summer Marriage Is Planned By Ann Clark and Merlyn Allred The lovely garden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lealand A. Clark in Pleasant Grove was the setting Monday evening for a dinner party par-ty announcing the engagement of their daughter, Miss Anna Rae (Ann) Clark to Merlyn Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allred, also of Pleasant Grove. The tables were arranged on the patio where close friends of the bride-to-be learned the romantic news. White parchment scrolls tied with dainty pink ribbons and sprays of lily of the. valley inscribed inscrib-ed in gold, "Ann and Merlyn" were attached to small gold wedding bands which marked the place settings. set-tings. Miss Clark attended the University Univer-sity of Utah, where she was affiliated affil-iated with Alpha Phi and Mu Phi Epsilon. - Mr. Allred attended Snow College Col-lege before e'ntering the armed forces and at present he is stationed station-ed at Ft. Pendleton, Calif. He is at present taking special training in amphibious landing craft at Ft. Pendleton. A .late summer wedding is being be-ing planned by the young couple. |
