Show Foreign Language Festival Slated for Next Wednesday A foreign language festival will be presented by the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth (t rade students of the Lindon, Grovoerest, Central and the' Pleasant Grove Junior High School and their teachers, Miss Jean Maycock and Rulon Biimhall, on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Elementary Element-ary School. Parents will be able to obsei-ve the way foreign languages are taught in the district; students will be able to demonstrate the foreign language they have learned thin the festival. Songs and poems will be presented in Spanish, and Argentine Ar-gentine folk dances will be demonstrated demon-strated by Mr. and Mi s. Jerry Robinson. Rob-inson. Dr. Dairell Taylor of the Brig-ham Young University, will be a featured speaker. Foreign language festivals are being conducted in each of the communities of the disriet during the months of Jan. and Feb., under un-der the direction of Elliot C. Howe, Supei-visor of Foreign Languages for the- Alpine School District. |
