Show High Priests Banquet Held By Well Attended Over two hundred high priests and their wives of Timpanogos stake enjoyed a banquet and program pro-gram in the new Grove ward-Tim-panogos stake bouse Wednesday evening. This was the first banquet ban-quet held in the new building, and was given in honor of the outgoing out-going presidency of the high priests quorum. The very successful affair was in charge of President H. V. Swenson, Swen-son, with Neil Fugal, counselor, as master of ceremonies, who also gave an address of welcome. Pres. Merrill N. Warnick gave a short talk, commenting on the fine work done by the outgoing presidency of the quorum and also gave some interesting highlights on the American Am-erican Dairy Association, the national na-tional organization to which he was recently elected president. President H. V. Swenson gave a toast to the retiring presidency of the high priests quorum. Musical numbers were given by Mrs. James Richardson, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Hal Haycock, and Loye Bailey, accompanied by Mrs. Ann Fugal Bailey, and a reading was given by George Paul. Invocation was offered by M. S. Christiansen and benediction by Paul Blackhurst, of the high priests presidency. The banquet was prepared by the Grove ward Relief Society, with members of the auxiliary organizations or-ganizations assisting in various capacities. |
