Show Rose 3. Hayes To Be Honored Daughters of Pioneers Today, Friday, Nov. 14, at 2 p. m. the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pion-eers will meet at the Pioneer Log Cabin, in a social honoring Rose B. Hayes, beloved pioneer lady and one of the instigators of the cabin project. Lucile H. Walker will be hostess, host-ess, with Mrs. Pearl Adams, Mrs. Violet Warburton, and Mrs. Idelle Walker co-hostesses. Regular lesson, a pioneer his-toiy his-toiy will be given by Mrs. Adena W. Swenson. Mrs. Amy B. Lyman of Salt Lake City, will give a brief sketch of her sister Rose's life. D. Vf P. President Kate Carter has been invited, as has the county DUP officers. Captain Nora Macfarlane will be in charge. All DUP members and close friends, who wish to honor Mrs. Hayes are invited. A cozy fire will he lighted in the fireplace, and refreshments savoring of pioneer days will be enjoyed. Music will be directed by Chorister Chor-ister Cleone Kirk, |
