Show JUST FOR KIDS Bones, the Story of a Misunder-stoo Misunder-stoo Mongrel. (Johnny Reed had some chickens chick-ens stolen from him, and now he wrongly suspects Bones, David Rowntree's dog, of the theft.) Johnny and David were engaged in an interesting conversation. "Maybe you had better stand watch tonight and see what steals the chickens" said David helpfully- "Yes, I think that sounds like a good idea," returned Johnny, "Golly, "Gol-ly, I hope it wasn't your dog." The next night was cold, and that frosty Sunday morning Johnny John-ny was left unsatisfied, tired and cold. That night his chickens had been left untouched not because he had driven the would-be thief away, but because there simply hadn't been an unwelcome visitors visit-ors that night. Maybe this was a good idea! He went into in-to his house, anxious to present his problem at the breakfast table. Noisly he entered the porch, stamping stam-ping the dirt off his shoes.
