Show Adult Education Classes Get Good Start Most of the Adult Education classes have got off to a good start, according to Mrs. H. S. Walker, Supervisor. Those in charge however, wishes wish-es to make it known that there is still room for more in the sewing classes. Advanced Sewing directed direct-ed by Marcella Skinner Monday j at 3.30 p. m. General Sewing 7.30 p. m. Wednesday, directed by Mrs. I Skinner. Beginners Sewing calling cal-ling young .mothers on Thursday evening at 7.30. There is also room for more in the Youth Guidance and World Affairs Classes. World Affairs will include five lectures by Dr. Richard Poll of the B. Y. U. an expert in his line. He will discuss labor problems; Atomic Atom-ic Power; Local Civic Problems; The Russian Situation and United Nations and the Chinese Situation, all of which Dr. Poll is well prepared pre-pared to discuss. Youth Guidance will hold its first class on October 20, at 7.30 p. m. with Dr. LcRoy Bishop of the B. Y. U. as speaker. Parents are requested to bring their problems pro-blems to the class for discussion. Upholstery and Home Decorating Decorat-ing classes are each filled to capacity. |
