Show Local News 1 Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Dixon and four sons of Clearfield, spent the week-end -with Mrs. Dixon's parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Yancey. Mrs. Ola Hanson returned last Sunday from a week's visit in Salt Lake City, with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Barraclough and family. While there Mrs. Hanson also was engaged in genealogical work. Young Don R. Maxfield was 4 years on Sunday. To help observe the event, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Maxfield; and ' Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson and family of Murray were guests at the home of Don's parents Mr. and Mrs. Grant Maxfield. Mrs. John Hilton entertained relatives and friends on Dec. 14, honoring the birthday of her little son J. Neil, 1 year old.'A social evening with refreshments was enjoyed and little J. Neil presented present-ed with many fine gifts. Present were Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hilton and Leon and Lynn, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Hilton, Mrs. Don Peterson and Bonny Jo, and Mrs. Bill Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Elsberry & Mr. and Mrs. filSon F. Wright entertained at a bridal shower on Monday evening at the Lindon chapel in honor of Miss Geanie Elsberry a bride of the week. Miss Estelle Fenton was mistres of ceremonies and conducted the following program: Dance numbers num-bers by Lee Ann Smith, Jerry Hooley, Alice Meredith and brother, broth-er, Miss Turner's student of Pay-son; Pay-son; vocal solo Miss Fenton; vocal duet, Misses Nadine and Wilma Hales, accompanied by their mother; moth-er; song by Charles Naylor; readings read-ings Mary Ann Moyle, Betty K. Keetch, Marcus Colledge, panto-mine panto-mine Jerry Honsen. Refreshments were served. i |
