Show i Committees Are j Named For Greater Utah Valley Inc. Greater Utah Valley Incorporated Incorporat-ed conjointly with the Utah Valley Water Users Association assume the responsibility of joint host to the Principals of the National Reclamation Rec-lamation Association Conference which is being held in Salt Lake City, November 2, 3 and 4. The special visit to Provo will be a pre-conferenee . program at which United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Brandon and Department of Interior Secretary Secret-ary Kiug will be the principal speakers at the luncheon fetcing these men on their visit to Utah Valley, Tuesday, November 1. This visit to Utah Valley will be in the interest of promoting the cause of the Central Utah Project. Among the national figures who will be present at the pie-conference meet will include governors govern-ors of states, U. S. Congressmen, and many other public officials from Washington. Leo Hansen has been appointed by Sterling E. Price, President of Greater Utah Valley Inc., to chairman chair-man the committee which will be responsible for the arrangement honoring these high officials. Other Oth-er committee members are: S. R. Boswell, Lee Taylor, L. P. Thomas, L. S. Walker, Eldon Payne, Clark Elmer and DcVere Wooten. Guests throughout the valley will be invited to participate in the activities of the day which will consist in addition to the luncheon of a complete description of the Central Utah Project with the aid of the large relief map in the county building. Industrial tours through the Geneva Steel Plant and the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Plant. President Sterling E. Price also announced the appointment of per- son and Ruben J. Peterson. This committee will be charged with erection of signs and markers throughout the valley, and circulation circul-ation of maps and brochures to ! individuals both inside and outside of the valley interested in information inform-ation regarding points of interest, inter-est, production and industrial opportunities. manent committees charged with I carrying out objectives of Greater Utah Valley Inc., including a committee com-mittee on Agricultural and Industrial Indus-trial Development with Leo Hansen Han-sen as Chairman and the following Committee members: Dave Greenwood, Green-wood, Henry Roberts, R.ay Davis, Clark Elmer. This committee will be charged with organizing and developing a program which will invite improvement in Agriculture, encourage industrial development and study manners in which the Central Utah Project cause can be furthered. A permanent committee on public pub-lic relations was also appointed with Mr. Reese Anderson as chairman, chair-man, Kenneth Gillman, George Collard, Cleve Bingham as : committee com-mittee members. This committee will be charged with the responsibility of improving improv-ing relationships with the visitors to Utah Valley and also encourage a loyalty to local busness.
