Show Geniel Adams Is Recent Bride Of Provo Man Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Adams of this city announce the marriage of their daughter Geniel to David L. Waid of Provo. The attractive young couple were united in marriage on April 7 at the brides home. Flowers, palms and candlelight formed a perfect setting for an extremely beautiful and touching ceremony, which was performed by Clifford B. Wright, former bishop bish-op and now a member of the LDS stake presidency in Huntington Park, California. Mr. Wright is an uncle of the bride. The lovely bride was beautiful in a white satin gown and lace heart-shaped veil. Her bridal bouquet bouq-uet was of orchid and red roses. The maid of honor was Mrs. William Wil-liam H. Davis, who is a sister of Geniel. Donald L. Myrup, a close friend and business partner of the groom assumed best man duties. 'Following the ceremony close friends and relatives joined the young couple at Vernal's Cafe in Pleasant Grove, where a lovely wedding supper and entertainment -were enjoyed. Clyde Olson, a trother-in-law of the bride acted as master of ceremonies introducing introduc-ing Miss Estelle Fenton, who gave a very clever toast to the bride, and Don Rasmussen whose toast to the groom included childhood memories. mem-ories. A very beautiful rendition of "Because" was sung by Marilyn King, a close friend of Geuicl's. She was' accompanied bv Beverly Wright. The newlyweds left the following follow-ing day for a honeymoon in California Cal-ifornia and Boulder Dam. They arc at present making their home in Provo. |
