Show Local News Neil Morris was visiting Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove friends on Tuesday. Nyle Harris, who is leaving this week to enter the LDS mission field was honor guest at a dinner Saturday evening at the L. S. Walker home. Others for whom covers were laid were Mrs. Myrle Blackham of Moroni, Mrs. Douglas Neilson and Mrs. Joe Hilton and the Walker family. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lund of Riverside, California, have been visiting Mr. Lund's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Armitstead while Mrs. Lund visited visit-ed here. Mr. Lund also enjoyed a hunting trip to Wyoming where he got his elk. On Monday, Beverly Farr entertained enter-tained a few close friends in honor of her 8th birthday. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Farr. took the young folks to a show in Provo after which they returned to their home for refreshments. Young guests were Patsy Morgan, Deanna Wadley, Karen Belliston, Craig Sn-uth and Gay Farr. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Thayne were visitors at the McCune School of Music and Art, where their daughter daugh-ter Edith Anne was one of three dancers who danced for Ernest Block, world famed famous composer. com-poser. They also attended the reception re-ception in honoring Mr. Bloch at the home of Marcel Terel. On Tuesday Edith Anne with Carol Dahle Naef, danced before the guest at the Alpine stake harvest ball at the Apollo Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Swenson on October 7, became the parents of a baby girl at the Lehi hospital. The lady lady arrived on her mother's moth-er's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Merrill and family motored to Brigham City Sunday and spent the day with Mrs. Merrills parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reese. |
