Show Five Elders In Wards Of Timpanogos Stake To Be Honored At Farewells Sunday Five young elf Ii-r.s of Timpan-ogfis Timpan-ogfis stake will be honored at farewell fare-well testimonials in their respective respect-ive wanly on Sunday evening, October Oct-ober 10. Third Ward (iranl Filial In the Third ward tribute will be paid to Grant Fugal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neils Fugal. Speakers will include Grant's brother, Bishop Bish-op Neil Y. Fugal and John Fugal, with responses by the missionary anil his father. Special vocal numbers will be sung by Loile Bailey of Salt Lake City. Elder Fugal will enter the LDS mission home in Salt Lake City on Monday, October 11. He has been assigned to the Northern California Calif-ornia mission. First Ward Stanley Kay West Honored in the Pleasant Grove First ward on Sunday October 10, at 7:30 p.m. will be Stanley Ray West, son of Mr. and Mrs. Loren West. The program is being arranged arr-anged by the missionary committee commit-tee of the ward. After a weeks training at the mission school in Salt Lake City he will labor in the western states mission. Elder West's bride who he married mar-ried two weeks ago is Viva Johnson, John-son, daughter of Mrs. Signe Johnson John-son of Lindon. irove Ward Eugene Hilton The Grove Ward will honor Eugene Hilton at a farewell testimonial test-imonial at 5:30 o'clock Sunday evening. Featured speaker will be President Morrill N. Warnick. Music will be furnished by the Allen Brothers quartette and the Melodettes, a girls sextette from Lincoln high school. After completing his training at the LDS mission home, beginning Monday, October 11, Elder Hilton will depart for the Northern states mission field with headquarters in Chicago. Eugene is a veteran of World War II having seen two years of Navy service, and since his discharge dis-charge has spent two years at USAC. His wife is the former Ruth Patten of Orem. Second YY'ard Richard Faulson A farewell testimonial for Elder Richard Paulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ford M. Paulson will be held in the Pleasant Grove Second ward Sunday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. Elder Paulson has accepted a call to the Netherlands Mission, and will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on October 11. A program arranged under the direction of Bishop Reed O. Wallk-or Wallk-or will include as speakers, Donald Wright, uncle of the missionary, President Merrill N. Warnick, the missionary's father, the bishop and Elder Paulson. Musical numbers will include a piano selection by Miss Mary Paulson Paul-son and vocal numbers by Miss Marcene Kamp, a student at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. Elder Paulson served for 21 months in the armed services after he graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1945. Since then, he has continued his studies at Brigham Young University. Lindon Ward Xyle Harris On Sunday evening October 10th at 7:30 p.m. in the Lindon Ward schoolhouse, a farewell testimonial honoring Nyle Harris will be given under the direction of the Lindon ward missionary committee. Bishop Bish-op Alroy Gillman, William C. Smith and Estelle Fenton will be among the speakers on the program. pro-gram.
