Show Local News Items Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Shields spent Saturday in Tooele where they attended the funeral of Mr. Shields sister Mrs. Florence S. Clays. ' - t Dr. and Mrs. 3. C. Linebaugh and children, John, Jane Jean and Paul were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Linebaugh in Salt Lake city on Thanksgiving day; Mrs. Reed Halliday and children Bobby and ' Alene of Denver, are visiting here with their parents and grand pal'ents Mr. and Mrs. Owen Halliday. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Larson entertained their family on Thanksgiving Day. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Larson and children Barbara, and Carilye Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Geo. N. Larson and daughters Nancy and Janette of Salt Lake city, and Mrs. Orville W. Larson and children Carol Ann and Lloyd of Kaysville. The Cadmus Club met at the home of Mrs. W. W. Wfarnick with Effie W, Adams as hostess on Monday evening. The concluding program on Russia was given by Geneva Gibson and Daisy Nielsen, who gave folk tales and legends. The next meeting will be held at the home of Margaret Hayes Monday, December 3rd. Berniece Christensen will give the historical histor-ical background of China, which will introduce the course of study of the Chinese people. The G. E. OscaTson family enjoyed en-joyed Turkey day dinner at the home of Bishop and Mrs. AlRoy Gilman, on Thursday evening. Family members -presen were Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Oscarson, Bishop and Mrs. AlRxy Gillman and son Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Hales and sons Harley and Don, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mclure and son Kenney and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Oscarson, all of Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. George Oscarson Oscar-son and son Glenn, J. T. Oscarson and Mrs. E. Nelson of Salt Lake city. The Don B. Walker home was the scene of a gay parly on Thanksgiving Day, when the Mae R.
