Show New Tri-City Laundry Ready To Open j The new Tri-City Laundry, j under construction for the past ! five months on South First West ! street American Fork, is now j completed, machinery all install-' install-' ed and should be ready to go into , operation within the next ten J days. I The new venture entails an investment in-vestment upwards of $40,000 in ground, building, machinery and equipment. Messrs Carl and Lloyd Ohran and G. H. Brew are , the owners and Mr. Brew will be the operator of the plant. This new concern has a building build-ing 45 by 90 feet, facing west on I First West. The building is constructed con-structed of cinder block with rounded wood and composition roof and full cement floors. In ; the front of the building is office and supplies storage with the south three-fourths of the building build-ing housing the complete laundry laun-dry equipment. The north quarter is divided off and hous-I hous-I es a complete dry cleaning plant. I In the rear is a separate boiler I room which houses the boiler, I : ; ! water safteners, hot water tanks, etc. Throughout equipment is of the finest and of- late design. With one exception every piece of equipment is brand new. The plant is' arranged to give every detail to the proper and efficient handling of clothes from the washing to wrapping in the front end of the building. The plant will open with fifteen fif-teen employees and as rapidly as volumn is secured this number will be increased to about twenty-five. twenty-five. The company will endeavor to serve all of north Utah county with every type of laundry and cleaning service commencing prior to August 1st. |
