Show Local News Items Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marrott left Saturday for a ten day visit in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Ethan R. Allen and family spent a very enjoyable d;iy at Lagoon on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. James Nelson of Salt Lake City spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dexter. Mr. and Mrs. Basil Walker returned re-turned this week from Los Angeles where they visited Mrs. Walker's brother, Bert Chadwick and family. Mr. and Mrs. H. Summerhays, and two children returned this week to their home in San Pedro California, after visiting here with Mrs, Summerhays' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Carlson are happy over the birth of their 141h grandchild, a girl, born to Ivan and Fern Carlson Collcdge, Sunday in te American Fork hospilal Both mother and child are doing well. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Robertson enjoyed a visit in Helper. Price, and Wellington last week, where they visited Mrs. Robinson's three sons and her sister in law, Mrs Enoch Bryner. i The Navy has announced the release of Mahlon Smith, SSMC3c son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Smith of this city, at Shoemaker, California, Cali-fornia, on July 12. Mahlon, has served in the Navy since Sept, 2 1944, and was overseas at Okinawa from July 14, 1945 to February 25, 1946. Mr and Mrs. Mervin Sanders and baby daughter and Mr. and Mrs. George Harmeson. all of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs William Blackwell. Other callers at the Blackwell home were I Mrs. L. W. Jones and daughter and Mrs, Harry Blackwell of Provo. Mr. and Mrs, Ray J. Brown and family and Mr. and Mrs. Algean Clayton and family of American Fork have returned from a 10 lay fishing trip through Idaho. Three days were spent fishing the Salmon Run on the Salmon River, and three days fishing the Yellowstone P.iver. |
