Show Utah Poultry Association ISolds Convention The Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative Co-operative Association is "bringing the convention to the grower" this year, according to information released re-leased by Mr. Clyde C. Edmonds, general manager of the Association. Associat-ion. Instead of one central gathering, gather-ing, there will be three Regional Conventions, to be held as follows: Logan, Friday, February 28 ; Richfield Rich-field Monday, March 3, and Salt Lake City, Wednesday, March 5. Mr. Edmonds states that poultry men-farmers of Utah, including members of the Association and others interested, are invited to attend at-tend whichever convention is most convenient for them. The convention convent-ion scheduled for Richfield will be held in the LDS Tabernacle there, with regular sessions at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. In the evening there will be a banquet, floor show and dance. The program that has been prepared pre-pared will include discussions of importance to every poultrymen-farmer poultrymen-farmer of this area, Mr. Edmonds states. There will be reports on progress made during the past year, and discussions on future markets, the feet situation, etc. He added that a excellent program of entertainment has been arranged for all sessions, with drawings during the day for many valuable prizes. The Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative Co-operative Association, which had its beginning in 1923, transacted last year, according to Mr. Edmonds, Ed-monds, a total of more than $20,000,000 worth of business. |
