"I think we've got to put over a new philosophy of living," Mr. Carlos said. "I think we should live for our home and community above everything else." "The centennial celebration offers of-fers the greatest opportunity for us to display and exhibit some of our own talent in various communities commun-ities in a way that will be recognized recog-nized throughout the nation," he declared. Problems of the beautification were outlined by five other beaut-ifiication beaut-ifiication committee representatives, representa-tives, including Mrs. LeGrand Faulks, representing Orem Garden Club; Bob Woolsey, chairman of Provo Paint Up-Clean Up campaign; cam-paign; Mrs. Lucile Walker, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove beautification committee commit-tee member; Mayor Wallace Gardner, Gard-ner, Spanish Fork, and Leo Hansen, Han-sen, Lehi beautification committee member. |
