Show State Sanitarium Ready To Receive First Patients The Utah State Tuberculosis Sanatorium San-atorium at Ogden is now ready for patients, according to an announcement announce-ment made this week by Louis W. Parratt, M. D., superintendent and medical director. For the information of prospective patients, Dr. Parratt made the following fol-lowing announcement: "To all persons who wish to apply for admission to the State Tuberculosis Tubercu-losis Sanatorium, it is urged that application ap-plication be made immediately. Also, Al-so, it would be appreciated if any one who has knowledge of a person, who in his opinion is eligible for admission, would inform such person per-son of this notice. "The necessary application blanks should be obtained from the County Clerk of the county in which, the prospective patient is a resident. These forms are to be filled out in duplicate and filed with his District Court. The patient's credentials will then be in order and a district court hearing will then be had to deter- mine the applicants eligibility for admission to the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium. "The law for admission provides that 'The application shall be made by the patient or may be made by the parent, guardian or friend of any incompetant patient.' " |
