Grove News j i i i Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Kirk and daughter Marvel Anne of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bow-den Bow-den of Vernal visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. George McXees and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ash and tamily. The home of Merrill and Florence Flor-ence Stagg Smith of Salt Lake City was made happy Tuesday morning by the arrival of a new son at the LDS hospital in Sait Lake City. Mrs. John Robinson of Long View, Washington, and Mrs. Harry Williams of Lark visited from Thursday til Monday with their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Stagg. Mrs. Robinson has just returned from an extended trip to the east and also visited Los Angeles before coming to Utah Ut-ah enroute to her home in Long View. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jeppson of Manila have recently received word that their son Neal has completed the prescribed course in Parachute packing, ground training and has made the required number of parachute para-chute jumps from a plane in flight and is rated as a qualified Parachutist. Neal, who is in the 11th Airborne Division is stationed at Camp Crawford, Sapporo, Japan. Mrs. William Blackwell and Mrs. Brigham Van Wagoner and two children spent Wednesday afternoon after-noon in Salt Lake City. Mr. arid Mrs. P. M. Gooch of Ogden became the parents of a new son on Tuesday, May 27. Mrs. Gooch will be remembered by friends as Melba Fugal. |
