Show Funeral Is Held For Mrs. Mary Ann Jarman Very impressive funerai rites were conducted Saturday in the Windsor ward chapel for Mary Ann Jarman, who died Thursday October 31 at her home in Oreni. The service began at 2 o'clock I with Bishops Councilor Lowell P. Varley conducting. The opening open-ing number, Rock of Ages was sung by a male quartette, Vern Marrott, Zeldon Harris, Gene Richins and Dexter Wilberg. They were accompanied by Anita Varley. Invocation was offered by Patriarch Pat-riarch D. B. Thorne of Timpan-ogos Timpan-ogos Stake. A parable for mother was read by Anita Varley. Speakers, all whom extolled the life and works of Mrs. Jarman and offered words of faith and encouragement . to her family were, J. W. Gillman, former bishop bis-hop Stanley B. Harris, President Merrill N. Warnick and President Clayton Watts of Sharon Stake. Musical numbers interspersing the speakers included a vocai solo, so-lo, My Task by Mrs. May R. Walker, Wal-ker, vocal solo, Resignation by Carol Rawle accompanied by Ray Millet; vocal duet, Song of the pines by Helen Gordon and Bessie Cochran; voocal duet, T. Know Not Why by Betha Kirk and Gol-die Gol-die Kirk accompaned . by Mrs. Varley; vocal solo, Tlie Lords Prayer, by Robert ' Downs. Benediction was pronounced by s Elwood Baxter. '' Internment, directed by lOlpin I Mortuary was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery, where ' Bishop Alroy Gillman offered the ! dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers, all nephews of ' Mrs. Jarman were Reed Gillman. Horace Gillman, Leland Gillman. ' Kenneth Gillman, Leland Mittet, and Jamies Corrigan. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Windsor Camp of theD.U.P. of which organization Mrs. Jarman Jar-man was Captain. I |
