Show Seven From Here Slated To Receive B. Y. U. Degrees Seven students from American Fork are among 480 graduates of Brigham Young university who will receive diplomas in the sixty-fifth commencement exercises June 5. The American Fork students are: Glade Jorgensen, B. A., College of Fine Arts; Irene Giddings,- B. S., College of Applied Science; Ernest F. Reimschiissel, B. A., College of Applied Science; Helen Ellison, B. S., College of Education; Amy Wag-staff, Wag-staff, B. S., College of Education; George C. Scott Jr., B. S., College of Education; Emily Currie, Normal Diploma. Bacculaureate services will be Sunday evening, June 2, with George Albert Smith of the council of twelve of the L. D. S. church as speaker. Dr. John A. Widtsoe of the council of twelve and former president of the University of Utah will deliver the commencement address. This year's graduating class is the largest in the history of the university. univer-sity. Registration records were also broken again this year with a total of 2,876 students. |
