Show ed MRS MARY ANN ASTON DIED AT HOME OF DAUGHTER ON MONDAY Mis Mary Ann Aston, 82, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Bradford Shumway, Monday, at 9.46 a. m. after a lingering illness. She was born Nov. 4, 1863 at Re-ditch, Re-ditch, England, a daughter of John and Ann Stanley Harris. She came to the U. S. with her parents when she was three years old. They settled set-tled in Pleasant Grove and with the exception of a few years when she lived at Vernal, she spent her life at Pleasant Grove. She was married to John F. Astoh Nov. 2, 1885. He died in 1934. Surviving are six children Mrs. Vilate Shumway, Vineyard; Mrs. Irene Shumway, Mrs. Ethel Gordon, Gor-don, and Mrs. Elva Cardoner, Orem; Leo Aston, Salt Lake and - Ray Aston, Provo; thirty-four grand children and thirteen great-grand children. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1.30 in the Windsor Ward Chapel by Bishop LeGrand Jarman. ; ., |
