Show INDEPENDENTS NAME TICKET 1 All presenf city officers were re-named as candidates to succeed themselves at a mass convention 1-eld at the Bingham High School last Friday night. Dr. J. F. Flynn was nominated for chairman, chair-man, John T. West, A. C. Larick and T. IL McMullin to succeed themselves as board members to-together to-together with Rex Tripp in the oth cr position on the board made vacant by the death of James Nerdin. The voters now have the list of all names of the men who will be voted for at lihe municipal election elec-tion which will be held here Nov. 5, and no doubt will consider the tickets and compare the candidates candi-dates man for man. One change has been made in the personel of the Citizen ticket ksince our report last week. C. Morley has been placed on the ticekt to take the place of Ernie Dean who is leaving the city. All members of the town board are selected for a term of two years which is from January 1, 1930 to January 1, 1932. No policy issues have so far been brought out and interest is some what less so far than it has (heretofore been. Each party jseem to confine itself to comparing compar-ing individual candidates and I urging individuals to support their ticket. It is conceded by unbiased voters vot-ers (if such can be in a municipal munici-pal election that the race will be a very close one.
