Show i huneral Held I Wednesday for Zella Beal Peay Funeral services for Mrs. Zella Beal Peay, 62, who died at her home, 258 Williams Ave, Salt Lake City, Saturday at 8 P. M. of a lingering lin-gering illness were conducted Wednesday Wed-nesday at 1 P. M. in the Harvard ward chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Ei.shop Walter Hunt in charge. Mrs. Peay was born in Gainesville, Gaines-ville, Wayne County, November 20 1834, a daughter of William and Laura P.u.st Eeal. She was married to George X. Peay September 6, 10'. in the Salt L&ke Temple. The couple lived in Provo six years fcftfore moving to Pleasant Grove, where Mr. Peay operated the Peay Dairy. They moved to S-'t Lake in ifn. An active member of the church, I.Irs. Peay was president of the P.'-iiaf Society of the Pleasant Grov.: v.arJ and later supervisor of the girls' youth program in the Pie: vard ward. P.'uj is survived by her husband, Salt Lake; four sons, Golden Peay, Pleasant Grove; Ethan Peay, American Am-erican Fork; Harold Peay, Salt Lcko; and Jennings Peay, Susan-vilij, Susan-vilij, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Jacobs, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ruch Woodworth, Salt Lake, and Mrs. Emily Royle, Richland, Wash, two brothers, Horace Beal, River-ton; River-ton; and Orian Beal, Vale, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. Viva Snape, Riv-erton; Riv-erton; Elva Beal, Los Angeles; Mrs Laura Emmeuch, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Inez Madson, Boise, Idaho. She also reared a niece, Mrs. Faye Ross, MarysviHc, California and a nephew, William Beal, Salt Lake. |
