One important convoy job is flashing signals as this youth is doing in the Battle of the Atlantic. Your equally important job is to continue buying War Bonds until Victory. v s Treasury Detriment CHRISTMAS LIGHTING THIS YEAR SHOULD BE aw IN$ffiE JOB end limited enlf ?o ycur hcrcss -Meaning what? Simply that your Government, in line with its nationwide nation-wide voluntary conservation program in which seven major industries are participating, is asking that Christmas lighting decorations be confined to Christmas Christ-mas trees inside private homes that lights be dis- pensed with on street decorations, community Christ mas trees, exterior home decorations, and interiors and exteriors of commercial establishments. The reason? To conserve the use of light bulbs of which there is a shortage and to conserve electricity, which will thereby save coal, manpower, transportation and critical wartime materials used in making and distributing dis-tributing it. There is enough electricity for all essential uses but limiting Christmas lighting is an easy way to help save those ingredients, used in producing it, which are so vitally needed to speed Victory. rpv UTAH P0VER & LIGHT CO. l7Lzli':t h - - --'-I i-o,---J; . v j Your Soy Gives -'-' k i' 100 per cent; . ,.
