Show Community Pays Last Tribute To Prominent Woman Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Harris Robbins, 61, were held in the Timpanogos stake tabernacle, Thursday at 1 p. m. under the direction di-rection of Bishop Leonard Walker. The large crowd of friends and rel- atives who gathered there to pay their respects and the profuse floral tributes showed how deeply this outstanding woman was loved and admired. The services were opened with in- vocation by Harold Bullock. This was followed by a vocal solo by Mrs. Mabel King. The speakers, Bishop Stanley Harris, Ezra Walker Walk-er and William Dittmore recalled the unusual cheerfulness, amiability, amiabil-ity, charity and ambition of Mrs. Robbins. The high school trio sang "In the Garden." Donna Ash read a sketch of the life of Mrs. Robbins, written by her daughter, Mrs. Lola Bullock. It told of the early life of Mrs. Robbins, who was left motherless at an early age, of her hard work, her great faith in the gospel and in the healing power of prayer. A song, "Going Home," was sung by Ivan Pyne and a violin, solo played by Lois West. The benediction benedic-tion was pronounced by Ben Walker. Walk-er. The grave was dedicated by Charles Cobbley. |
